Pricing & Payments
Our prices are based on real-time Amazon market data and typically offer up to 2× more than competitors like Webuybooks or World of Books.
Pricing factors include:
- Current Amazon selling price

- Item condition
- Market fees and costs
Use our instant quote tool to see exactly what your items are worth before you commit.
Items We Accept
To submit an trade, you must have:
- Minimum 10 items in your basket
- Minimum £5.00 total value
Why these minimums?
- Collection costs are significant (driver time, fuel, etc.)
- Processing fewer items isn't economically viable for either party
- This ensures we can maintain our higher payout rates
Tip: These minimums are easy to reach for charity shops with regular donations. Most trades we receive have 50+ items!
- Fiction and non-fiction
- Textbooks and academic books
- Children's books
- Cookbooks and DIY guides
- Biographies and memoirs
- Ex-library books
Books must have an ISBN and be in good readable condition. See our Condition Guide for details.

- Water damage or mold

- Severe structural damage (broken spines, detached covers)
- Strong odors (smoke, dampness)
- ISBN/UPC doesn't match what was scanned
- Missing dust jackets or supplements
- Heavily scratched or broken discs
What happens:
- We inspect all items upon receipt
- If an item doesn't meet our standards, it's rejected
- You'll receive an email explaining the rejection reason
- Payment is adjusted to exclude rejected items
- Rejected items are NOT returned or available for collection
To avoid rejections: Please carefully review our Condition Guidelines before sending items.
Technical Questions
ISBN (International Standard Book Number): Used for books. Usually 10 or 13 digits found on the back cover near the barcode.
UPC (Universal Product Code): Used for video games and other products. Usually 12 digits found on the back of game cases.
Our system accepts both types of barcodes automatically.
- The ISBN/UPC is not in Amazon's database
- The item is very old or out of print
- You may have scanned a category code instead of the product barcode
- The barcode might be incorrect or damaged
Try checking the barcode is correct or skip that item and continue scanning others.
